Operation principles: -

These Extinguisher works on Principle called Saponification, it takes place when alkaline mixture such as wet chemical which is a mixture of Potassium acetate, Potassium citrate or of Potassium carbonate. It’s performed on burning oil or Fat, the wet chemical combines with fatty acid and its creates a foam layer on the surface which holds in the vapours and extinguishes the fire.
